AMC's latest hit, The Walking Dead is coming back with a roar on February 12 and I can hardly wait! The show's producers have blown faithful zombie comic fans off course by keeping Shane alive and including a few other unexpected plot twists along the way. What keeps fans like me watching after so many zombie maulings? We want the hot guys of The Walking Dead to live! Well most of them anyway! So which characters would female fans most like to hang with during a zombie apocalypse?
Daryl Dixon: Hands down and bar none, Daryl Dixon is number one! Born in Florida, Norman Reedus isn't just handy with a bow, he's a bonafide painter and sculptor. Before landing the role as rough, Southern boy Daryl Dixon, Reedus appeared in Blade II and The Boondock Saints. So why do we want this Walking Dead hottie to live? He totally rocks the sleeveless plaid (sorry, cable guy!) and has great aim! Please dear producers, you can keep Merle, just give us Daryl!
Rick Grimes: Every girl loves a man in uniform! Average guy and everyman, Andrew Lincoln plays courageous sheriff, Rick Grimes, the guy at the heart of the series. Besides wearing a cool hat and toting a big gun, fans like Rick because he does the "right thing" even when The Walking Dead world seems very un-right. How can you not cheer for a guy who recovers from a coma, finds his family and discovers his best friend has been er.. friendly with his wife. Live, Rick, live!
Glenn, the Pizza Guy: Originally from South Korea, Steven Yeun plays the guy we all know and love, the neighborhood college kid. Yeun's character doesn't have a last name, that we know of, but we love him anyways. He's been dropped down a well, been used as bait and is the first one to volunteer for a dangerous mission. Sweet and thoughtful, we love Glenn and hope he lives a long time.
Shane Walsh: Okay, you have to give Shane credit - he is a survivor. Jon Bernthal plays Shane so well, you'd never know he's studied abroad and even attended Harvard. Despite being quite naughty with Rick's wife and using Otis as zombie bait, fans hope Shane defies fate and lives a little longer. He creates a lot of tension, (as if we needed more) and plays a great evil genius compared to his ex-bestie Sheriff Grimes.
