The Walking Man

I had a dream that i walked down a path, and there i saw this man,
he asked me to tell him what i was thankful for, and so i began:
"I'm thankful for my family and friends, for they are all we really have in the end.
I'm thankful for my enemies, for they taught me everyone really wants a friend.
Thankful for flowers, books, and thoughts, this list could never end!
I'm thankful for poetry, and all the trees and their leaves, for every time Ive cried,
and all the things Ive wanted to be.
I'm thankful for the ice all around, even the snow that covers the ground.
For every time i skipped school, for every little broken rule,
for being me, and my stubborn ways, for each and every beautiful day.
For green grass and the softest breeze, for pumpkins and their salted seeds!
For all the things that i have lost, for every thing Ive ever bought.
For every job Ive ever had, weather it be good or bad,
for every place i once called home, for every place i still may roam.
For meeting you. See, you made me see!
I have lots to be thankful for! most of all being me!
