The Wandering Sky

Prose

shane durbec
Bleak

and bruised

a wandering sky

bestowed

its weary travels

upon my frail journey.

And feeling

these sad shadows

sinister waves of amber

a blossoming greenery

seeped into my stone byways

and lit the curvatures

around my single cell.

Arched thicket

knelt beside

while cold molasses

crept and colored

my cracked Grey shell.

And once emerged

from this neutral state

I felt the circulatory living

of a perfect celestial unity.
