In the more recent past, the DC football club has sought to make a big splash in the off-season by bringing in big names such as Cornelius Griffin, Brandon Lloyd, Antwaan Randle El, Andre Carter, Adam Archuleta, and Albert Haynesworth. The details of the Redskins usual aggression in the off-season are documented on their own website, Redskins.com. Despite all of the high profile player acquisitions, the philosophy has not resulted in much success on the field.
Since the team hasn't had much luck in selecting talent, the top two tight ends on the squad, Chris Cooley and Fred Davis, have decided to take it in their own hands. They decided that a friendly competition of tricycle riding would go a long way in deciding who should be the starting tight end. Check it out for yourself and tell me what you think of the results!
