The blank looks, and most often glares.
The disagreements of this and that,
Is what it all came down too when we sat.
Annoyed, frustrated and feeling blew,
It was all we knew to do.
Took each other by the face with our palms,
Felt each others lips and when they withdrew,
the soft spoken words were always I LOVE YOU.
Despite the constant atmosphere of stress and conflict,
Despite the feeling of loneliness and despair,
Despite the constant nagging from family in the air,
We did it my love, we made it through,
because all that matters is me and you!
What we want, what we love, what we desire,
Is what will matter most when the night has ended and we sit by a fire.
Not who wants it this way, who wants it that,
Not who does like who, who doesn't like that.
It's what do you want my dear, or what do you want my love,
For it is our wedding , and it will be so loving and pure.
For under God's roof we shall unite as one,
and in our eyes this is all that matters, all that matters to us, to God.
All that should matter for anyone.
The love we share shall never be broken or torn apart,
for it is to pure, to strong, filled with life.
We shall be together forever and always
DAY AND NIGHT.
