This comes in a blue and white aerosol can and is available at most major grocery stores in the laundry and stain removal area.
Follow the directions on the can. This solution is tacky and chalky when dry. It is very, very white. For that reason it is best to use it only on very light colors unless it's absolutely necessary. Be careful not to inhale the fumes or the chalky powder.
Stain Removing Wipes
Shout Wipes are good for small stains on colored clothing. Use with caution on dry-cleanables. The solution may remove some of the color.
Tape
Masking Tape is perfect for marking the floor where the bridal party is to stand for the ceremony or photographs.
Post-It Removable Glue Stick
Unlike regular glue sticks, this restickable glue can be applied directly to the skin (for those without sensitive skin) to keep spaghetti straps up and necklines in place. An extra heavy coating may be necessary for the maid of honor to keep her cleavage in place when she attends to the bride's train.
You can find the glue in most office supply stores.
Two-Way Radios
These are indispensable in large halls or multi-story churches and wedding halls. Uses include informing the choreographer when the girls are ready to start the procession and cueing the musician. Hand signals only work when each coordinator is visible to the others. Two-way radios are also helpful for the photographers and videographers to communicate across the room. Be sure each group uses a separate channel.
Sewing Kit
Always have thread ready in the colors of the bridal party. Don't forget scissors and sewing needles. Use the scissors to cut off the hanger ribbons on the bridesmaids' and bride's dresses before they walk down the aisle.
Safety pins in assorted sizes are good for small tears, undone hems, missing buttons and other quick repairs.
Mirror
An extra one in the changing room keeps bridesmaids from fighting. They are nervous enough without worrying about how they look.
Spare Rings
Yes, the groom does occasionally forget this all important item. The rings can be simple bands, but they should be large enough to fit.
Lighter and Candle Snuffer
These are for the unity candles. These should also be made available at the reception hall if necessary.
Food
Order a cheese and cracker tray or a snack basket for your Bridal Party, photographer, videographer, and those who don't have time to eat before the wedding. The last thing you need is someone passing out during the Ceremony. And, just in case they do, don't forget smelling salts.
One note: Avoid greasy and colorful foods since they stain.
Misellaneous Items
Bobby pins are necessary for loose curls or headpieces.
A few corsage pins should be handy in case the florist doesn't supply enough.
Earring backs get lost so replacements are vital.
Clear nail polish is for runners in nylon hosiery.
Super Glue mends broken nails.
