The heat is around 80-85 degrees daily. The summer months can bring the heat to over 100 degrees. It's important to bring plenty of water with you to the West Palm Beach Zoo since there aren't many vendors. This zoo can be great if you are planning a family picnic or just looking to take your kids somewhere for the day. If you are looking to see a larger view with more attractions, then you may want to take your family to Animal Kingdom in Orlando Florida. This is around 2 hours from West Palm Beach and it's definitely worth the drive. People that go to Animal Kingdom usually love this zoo because there is so much to see and you can spend several days there. The West Palm Beach is a good zoo to go to if you are a local resident of West Palm Beach because you don't have to plan the whole day there since you are already living in West Palm Beach. The zoo however is very inexpensive to walk into and you have the option of going in or out of the zoo as often as you would like. Most people that go to the West Palm Beach zoo are there to explore the many different types of animals that are there and they also go because they tend to have a lot of fun with their families. You won't have to worry about getting lost in the West Palm Beach zoo since there isn't much ground to cover. You will find that keeping track of your family in this zoo is extremely easy. You may want to bring your camera as there are many things to take pictures of. They even have a cool reptile show.
