The Whispering Winds, Poem

A Poem About Winds that Whisper

robritt
The Whispering Wind

Whispering winds of time
What stories could you tell.
You've heard loves refrain
and screams for out of hell

You've blown a moon across the sky
And cooled the sun's shiny face
You've blown icy snow awry
with rain you've had a race

Leaves of April scamper round
flower bend in the breeze
The pollen swirls around me
And makes me want to sneeze

Yet in the summer heat
Your blessing you bestow
On a day so humid and hot
We pray that you will show

Relief from a blazing torrid sun
Wondering where you've been
How many secrets could you tell
What blustery stories lie within.
