The wind blows
Relentless and unknown
Carrying with it little pieces
From everywhere its gone
The cry from your heart
Gets carried far away
Left for trash and ruin
It goes farther away every day
Bits and pieces of lives
Scattered to the wind
A cry for help
The need of a long lost friend
The wind, it blows
Taking what it will
It will not bring back what is taken
Leaving you with a chill
The wind blows...
