As she walked the dark path just ahead she saw lights. Not being familiar with Hollow Bridge Road Sophie had no way of knowing what lay ahead. If only she knew. As she approached the dark sullen house she noticed figures in the window. A feeling of relief swept over her as perhaps now she could call for help. She slowly walked the walkway up to the steps. Hesitantly she rang the doorbell.
The door slowly opened and a very familiar face stood in her presence. Was it real? Had the cold made her delirious? It couldn't be. It's not possible. At the foot of the door stood her supposed dead boyfriend that died just two months earlier. Thoughts ran through Sophie's mind as her body fell to the floor.
