Last Tuesday evening, I attended an induction evening at a gym that I was interested in joining. The TBF Women Only Gym is only held open for membership of women and this was the reason that prompted me into visiting it. The gym is located in Dagenham, Essex and is becoming very popular. Their website, also, attracted me into making a visit to see what this gym was really like.

What the Gym has to Offer

Before I attended the induction day, I visited the gym on the morning of that day and was shown around. I was intrigued to see that there was not only a gym area with some unique exercise machines, but a toning room too. There are toning tables in this room for toning the body without having to exercise. Apparently, one hour of using the toning tables are equivalent to seven hours of floor exercise. They are, also, said to leave you feeling energetic and it gives an immediate reduction of unwanted inches. This to me, was enormous and very interesting, as I immediately felt attracted into joining the gym after hearing about toning tables.

The TBF Women Only Gym has an Infra Red sauna room, which is known to, also, aid weight loss. Sitting in an Infra Red sauna can benefit circulation, increased energy, weight loss, cardiovascular energy, speedy recovery with injury problems, detoxification, stress reduction, relaxation, beauty skin problems and improvement of the immune system. After hearing this information and seeing the sauna, I was even more interested in becoming a member.

The other benefit of the gym is the pool and spa area. The hydro therapy pool has the benefit of aiding relaxation and medical issues, such as, arthritis and muscle tension. You can swim in the pool or simply just relax in it, which will help your body to feel better and relaxed.

There is, also, a room of powerful sunbeds and there are classes that can be attended. Yoga is one of the classes on offer at TBF Women Only Gym. The gym, also, has a hairdresser and a treatment room in the building too. See TBF Women Only Gym's website for more details on their various beauty treatment descriptions and prices.

Membership

Membership - The membership costs are very reasonable in my opinion. The way the membership works is by joining an item, such as, joining either the gym or the toning room or Infra Red Sauna Room or Pool and Spa or Sundbed room. For one item, you join for 12 months at a cost of £20 per month and on top you can pay £15 cash for a months membership to another item. To join with two items, it is £30 per month for 12 months and you can join any two items and pay £10 cash for one month's use of a third item. Best of all, you don't even have to join right away, because you can attend the gym by just paying £4 to just use the gym area for as long as you like on that particular visit. You can even just pay £6 per person to come in and use the toning tables anytime you want or the Infra Red sauna or the pool and spa area.

The Induction

I thought that this gym was unique and very unusual. After I attended the induction last Tuesday evening, I was even more excited about joining. The personal trainer took eight of us women around, showing and explaining to us how each machine worked. We all tried the exercise machines and was given advice on what to do for weight loss. It was a good evening and I felt thoroughly energetic after the induction.

The toning tables were great too. I was very interested in using these and knew that I would be back to try these out. The Infra Red sauna was another item I wanted to try and the fact that it was a women only gym made me feel even more at ease. I knew I didn't have to worry about anyone looking at me too, which made me even more interested in joining.

The whole process of the induction led me to believe that this gym would benefit me and other women enormously and I knew that I would return to join very soon.

Sounds like a great place; I would love to read a follow-up on the toning tables...

This sounds like a good place, but I should think paying as you go might work best for some people. I know it would for me. Paying for a longer time would make me feel obligated to go, which would take all the fun out of it.
