Bikinis, beaches, blue skies
The sun, sand and sea
County fairs, festivals, parades
Add a glass of iced tea
Your day is now complete
Heat, hot, humid
Just some of the signs
That make us aware
It's now very near
The season of summer
Hotdogs on the grill
Baseball in the park
Ice Cream wagons nearby
Oh what a thrill
Summer has finally arrived
Here today, gone tomorrow
Don't blink an eye
Like a flash in the pan
They'll have gone bye-bye
Those glorious days of summer
