This former mission turned fortress is a grand museum of the early education of Christianity and the famous Battle of the Alamo in 1836. I could wander in this place for hours with the exhibits and educational writings of this great structures past. Another museum not to be missed is The Buckhorn Museum & Saloon. This old fashioned saloon turned cafe has an interactive western show and wax museum. Voted 2002 winner of Best Attraction, is saloon is something you defiantly can not miss.

Get wet in Splashtown Water Park residing on 20 acres offering 50 different rides to thrill and entertain you and your family. Splashtown is also the home of the largest wave pool in South Texas. If you have a taste for Hollywood flare, get up front and face to face with your favorite celebrity at the Louis Tussand's Plaza Wax Museum. Home of such stars as Brad Pitt, Juila Roberts or Marilyn Monroe. Perhaps you're interested in the monstrous movie legends of Dracula or Frankenstein.
