The Work Week, a Poem

Pattie Byrd
Monday, it's time to crawl out of bed,
Hoping this ache will stop in my head.

Tuesday, no good for this day I see,
Not even middle of the week can it be.

Wednesday, oh, good, it's the middle today.
Only two workdays left and then I can play.

Thursday, the weekend is closing in fast.
Even though I'm tired, I know I can last.

Friday, one more day and I'll be free.
Fun times ahead, just wait and see.

Great poem! I often have to work on the weekends for one of my businesses, so I have had to learn to view the week in a non-traditional way. Sometimes my "weekends" are on Wednesdays! ;-)
