The World's End

Tom Newton
The world is not ending! Just remember some people really believe it, and they probably have plans in place for December 31, 2011. Police can be sure they will be much busier than a usual New Years Eve, locking people up. Do not be a paranoid individual and jump on this burning wagon.

Everyone surely remembers the millennium, and not a thing happened when the ball dropped. Some speak of great disasters and plagues in 2012; has the World not seen enough disasters in past decades? In the most recent decade, the Southern United States experienced an over powering hurricane in 2005, Southwest Asia has been torn by war, and the World Plagued with Cancer and AIDS, they are just some of the many hardships. The most recent wide spread killer is H1N1, it has killed infants and the old and wise.

Specific religious groups can somewhat be to blame for the hysteria over the world coming to an end. Some groups have stated the earth's demise several times in the past, though it is just entertainment and for advertisement purpose only. The average and below average population buy into madness all too often to make themselves feel better especially during an economic struggle. Recent hardships have made the population much more vulnerable than usual.

Also leave it to Hollywood to embellish in the frenzy and create a movie based on the idea of the world ending. They do not even need to advertise, and they will still make millions just because it is already the hot topic of the year and years to come. Social networks around the world rave of this movie. They also instill the horrors of the end of human kind to come.

So the above average population, need to now fear. Prepare for stupidity. These types of things affect everybody in different ways from old to young. Preparing for the end of civilization is unfeasible. The streets will be wild and the bars will be dangerous, but to predict the actual outcome is impossible. The only prediction is an increase in consumer spending in 2011.

Disease and disaster developed over years and surfaced over night, but have damaged the world's population physically and mentally forever yet individuals move forward, because the world is not going to end. At this point in time the advancements in technology and life in general are far too great for this world to cease to exist any time soon.
