The daydreaming
never really stops
She thinks about him
until she drops
What is he doing?
Is he okay?
What is he thinking?
How was his day?
Sometimes she can't sleep
because the worry sets in
stress over words exchanged
can wear you thin
All she wants
is for life to be okay
and for feeling inferior
to go away
She fails at either
this or that
no matter what
she always falls flat
It seems like life
is an endless flurry
and she wishes she
could be rescued from the worry

Post a CommentThe rhyming structure is good and builds the story. I enjoy the unknown "How?", which is the part stressed people seldom figure out. In short, an effective yet sad read!
