The Samsung Gravity TXT is a seemingly awesome budget cell phone that goes beyond the average budget phones by adding a physical QWERTY slider keyboard and boasts several great features, but following are the worst features of the Samsung Gravity TXT.
Small Display
Regardless of if you're purchasing a smartphone or a standard cell phone, the display of said mobile phone will likely be central area where most of the cell phone's focus will take place. Although the Samsung Gravity TXT is far from being a smartphone, it's small 2.4 inch display seems a bit too small and cramped for web browsing, texting, and using the other features of the Samsung Gravity TXT.
Camera Quality
Much like display size, camera quality is becoming a cell phone features that's becoming increasingly important as cell phones and smartphones are starting to replace digital cameras as the go-to cameras for the average consumer. Unfortunately, in a world where 5,8,10, and even 12 megapixel cameras are common, the Samsung Gravity TXT only boasts a paltry 2.0 megapixel camera that won't be ideal for most consumers.
QWERTY Keyboard Is Cramped
One of the biggest selling points of the Samsung Gravity TXT cell phone is its physical slider QWERTY keyboard that's advertised to be best for texting, browsing the web, instant messaging, and other features, but unfortunately the QWERTY slider of the Samsung Gravity TXT is a bit too cramped. Unlike most other QWERTY slider cell phone keyboards that are notorious for being bulky, the Samsung Gravity TXT's keyboard is tailored to the small size of this cell phone's frame and is a bit underwhelming.
Lack of Apps
As previously stated, the Samsung Gravity TXT is far from being a smartphone, but even the most basic modern cell phones make great use of apps that most cell phone users are bound to find useful. The Samsung Gravity TXT only features a few basic apps like social network integration, email, and basic web browsing, but even those features are a bit too slow to be appealing.
Cheap Build Quality
As you'd probably expect of a budget phone, the Samsung Gravity TXT has a cheaply built form factor that doesn't appear to be able to stand the test of time or take that much damage. When it comes to build quality, you often get what you pay for and that just so happens to be the case with the Samsung Gravity TXT budget phone.
