The Worst Films of 2006
10) Eragon-- A fantasy with no wit within. Just seemed uninteresting and lacked magic.
9) Snakes On A Plane-- A laughably bad and very disappointing feature film. Never lived up to all of the hype.
8) Firewall-- Harrison Ford has a confused look on his face as if trying to figure out why he accepted this role. I give you the worst actor award of 2006 Harrison Ford.
7) Freedomland-- I hate the fact that this is the second Samuel L. Jackson film that made the list of my worst films of the year. He has always been my favorite actor. Julianne Moore proves worthy of the worst actress award for 2006.
6) The Black Dahlia-- Directed by a legendary filmmaker, this should have been something much more than just a boring and stale crime drama.
5) Over The Hedge-- I am not a fan of animated films. This one doesn't seem to change my feelings for them at all. It actually raises hatred for these films even more.
4) Borat-- Horrible and disgusting. The most overrated film of the year and easily one of the years worst so-called "comedy".
3) When A Stranger Calls-- The trailer gives away the best part of the film. Watch the original and don't waste your time with moronic remake.
2) Zoom-- I wish I just zoomed right pass this piece of crap. Torture to sit through.
1) Lady In The Water-- M. Night Shamalyan latest film proves to be his first true misfire and easily the years worst film.

Post a CommentNot a very in depth article on why you chose these films over so many other films that came out in 2006 that infinitely worse. If you're trying to make a list of the worst films it should probably be a list of the "worst" films not films that by their own standards are just mediocre and average.
Borat I enjoyed the rest fit well on the list more or less.
I agree with "When a Stranger Calls" - if that wasn't the biggest letdown, I don't know what was. "Freedomland" was a big disappointment - I expected so much more. "Snakes on a Plane" was a good laugh - it was supposed to be an over-the-top stupid movie and it accomplished just that. As for "Firewall" - I really liked that one. Didn't get a chance to see the others, but will probably get around to "Lady in the Water."
