"The X Factor" Judges and Fans Have Named Their Top 5

"The X Factor" has narrowed down the singing competition to five performers.

Last week, we watch Drew and Astro get sent home by both the voting public and the judges.

Astro was sent home immediately and Drew and Marcus Canty did a sing-off for the judges and everyone but Simon Cowell (her mentor) chose to save Marcus. Like Nicole Scherzinger said, Simon played it to safe with Drew, continually giving us slow songs, never finding anything faster paced to sing. Drew may have had "one of the best voices in the competition," but much like "American Idol," song choice is everything.

Contestants Still Competing:

Chris Rene, Josh Krajcik, Melanie Amaro, Marcus Canty, and Rachel Crow are still competing with hopes of winning and becoming "The X Factor." That means L.A. Reid still has two on his team, Simon has two, and Nicole has one. Paula Abdul's groups have been eliminated.

My personal favorites are Josh Krajcik (Nicole Scherzinger's team) and Melanie Amaro (Simon's team). They both have what it takes to win! They seem to be choosing the right songs to accommodate their voices and fans would be happy to see them make it to the end.

This week I expect that Rachel Crow and Marcus will be sent home. Guess we'll have to wait and see!
