The Yahoo! Contributor Network Community Outside the Yahoo! Contributor Network

Connect with Fellow Contributors and Yahoo! Staff

Y! Jelena
Yahoo! contributors often connect outside of the Yahoo! Contributor Network, whether to help one another with writing and content promotion or simply to chat about shared interests. Yahoo! Contributor Network staff members also maintain a presence on the social web as a resource for contributors.
Twitter

Twitter is one social network where contributors connect in droves. Accessible from the web or your mobile phone, Twitter allows anyone to register for a free account and send their "followers" messages of 140 characters or less.

Follow the Yahoo! Contributor Network on Twitter as @ycontributor to connect with staff at the click of a "tweet" button. If you tweet your best content, it may even be retweeted by @ycontributor!

To connect with other Yahoo! contributors on Twitter, check the Yahoo! Contributor Forum for threads in which Twitter handles are shared, or use a Twitter List to find fellow contributors.

Facebook

Facebook allows users to befriend other people, join groups, and become fans of businesses, celebrities, and more. Yahoo! contributors connect on Facebook through the Yahoo! Contributor Network's official page and privately through befriending each other.

To connect with the Yahoo! Contributor Network on Facebook, navigate here and click "like." Once you like us, you'll get the latest updates from the Yahoo! Contributor Network in your News Feed, along with exclusive assignment opportunities.

As you get to know other contributors in the Yahoo! Contributor Network community, you'll probably find some individuals who are particularly special to you. Search for those names on Facebook and request that they become your Facebook friend. Don't be offended if someone declines; many people prefer to only befriend those that they know personally, outside of the computer screen. However, many contributors love to befriend others through the Yahoo! Contributor network and are eager to get to know one another better.

Helpful information. However, when I tried the Facebook link, it failed.

Thank you. I have only been on Twitter for a short time, and I am still learning it. This has helped :-)

I agree. Kudos to you Y Jelena. I appreciate your help. I did try a new browser. I am able to drag my pictures. Also, the toolbar is now displayed when I write content. So thank you very much for your help.
