The Yellow Tulip

Lady Samantha
Amongst a sea of red
Stands the lone yellow tulip
Blowing in the wind
Alone, but not lonely
Surrounded by a patch of lush green grass
And one or two dandelions.

The wind blows
She courtesies graciously
As she meets the grass
And they engage in some clever conversation.

Now a bird comes by to say hello
And she bends to pat him on the head
He flies away
The grass and the yellow tulip laugh.

Night time falls
And she stands out
A light against the darkness
A lone yellow beacon in the night.

This is lovely! Hey, thanks for your long comment on my article. I think I was just making it too hard, trying to find a famous person born on the same day, month, AND year! Ha! :)
