Feng Shui colors are also divided into Yin and Yang colors. The Yin colors are supposed to bring healing and relaxation. Some examples of Yin colors are blue, black, purple, white, pink, and green. Some of these colors are said to help in both mental and physical healing, while others provide wisdom or protection. The Yang colors include most of the fire and wood elements of Feng Shui. They are said to provide enthusiasm and positive energy. Some Yang colors are yellow, orange, beige, brown, red, and gold.
Now that I have explained how the colors can be divided into different categories, I will detail the qualities of each color. Blue is a color that is believed to provide a calm and soothing effect. Navy blue is the color of wisdom. Black symbolizes money and is the color of emotional protection and power. Purple is the color of royalty and is said to bring physical and mental healing and increase spiritual awareness. White is the color of purity and represents trustworthiness, confidence, and poise. Yellow represents warmth and motion. It is believed to make you feel cheerful and friendly. Orange is the color of organization and it strengthens concentration and gives you a sense of purpose when completing tasks. Beige represents neatness and helps hide emotions. Brown signifies being hard working and is the symbol for industry. Red is the color of luck, confidence, joy, and protection. Green is the color of harmony and balance. It is said to be peaceful and calming. Pink is the color of love. Maroon represents indecisiveness. Gray is the color of the dead and dull.
