The Young and the Restless Update

Maggie realized that Deacon double crossed her when he squealed to the authorities about her plan to walk out of the Genoa City jail. She vows to pay him back and does so by telling Nikki that her lover man was in on her plot to push Nikki off the sobriety wagon and into his bed. Nikki is devastated and feels betrayed by Deacon. When she tries to reach out to Victor, she learns from Nicholas that Victor has eloped with Diane. Nikki is confronting with accepting the reality that the true love of her life, the dirty low down billionaire Victor Newman has married Diane. She must also accept that the one man that with whom she had had an affair and whom she thought really understood her and was her rock is really a low down, dirty, conniving broke but Sober drunk and played a big role in her bounce from the wagon.

Catherine confronts Tucker about his involvement in encouraging Jack to encourage Abby to sue her father. Tucker comes clean and tells Catherine that he has made offers to both Jack and Victoria. He tells her that he has offered both of them the same offer; the one that brings him Beauty of Nature will share a 50/50 partnership with him. Hurt and disappointed in Tucker's actions, Catherine swears to do all in her power to bring him down.

Catherine is alerted by Murphy that Nikki is not herself and when Catherine goes to Nikki's room to check on her, Nikki has awakened from her previous nights binge, cleaned herself and put on her most convincing shade of lying lipstick. She convinces Catherine that she is okay. Deacon shows up in Nikki's room and she throws him out. He is asked to leave the club when Nikki complains about him and before he departs he slips a sobriety card under Nikki's door. She picks the liquor cabinet in her room and gulps down several mini bottles of alcohol.

At the Chancellor mansion, a surprise party is planned for Chance's birthday. The birthday boy got an early birthday gift from a roll in the hay with "I Can't Say No Heather". Chloe expecting to surprise Chance with a batch of Esther's waffles for a birthday breakfast is herself surprised when she enters Chance's bedroom to find a naked Chance and Heather under the covers. Chloe must have been a good teacher; she was Chance's first sex partner and she must have taught him well.

Heather is intelligent but as my granny would say about as "dumb as a doorbell and with about as many morals as a Huff Heffner at a teenage girl sleepover." First Chance, then Ronan and now Chance again, really Heather?

Whatever Adam whispered in Sharon's ear in New Orleans must also have included some voodoo dust that made Sharon an even brainless woman than she was before. Desperate to find her fiancé' Adam, Sharon has hired Paul to look for him. When Paul advises her that Adam is in Thailand she asks him to go there to look for him; Paul refuses. Sharon knowing that conditions of her bail do not allow her to leave the country investigates requirements for an emergency passport. She looks at Faith's playpen and decides to use Faith's birth certificate to get her a passport; has this chick lost her mind or what?

Victor is setting up Diane for the kill giving her an expensive necklace, while she remembers her steamy lovemaking with his son. Chance is informed that the hearing will begin today so that he may testify and get on with his life. He tells them that he may have to go back under cover. Chance has arrived to testify but Christine is missing in action; while waiting to testify Chance receives a text that Heather has been kidnapped.

Adam is at the same place as the man that Victor hired to watch on Sky when she was alive. Adam feeds the man a story about his being a travel writer but the guy does not buy it and has it checked out. He confronts Adam with the truth that Adam lied to him and Adam is up in the big man's face like he is Mike Tyson. He tells big man that he will hound him to the end of time until he finds the evidence to free his fiancé.

Phyllis still snooping for a story for Restless Style pays Sharon a visit and decides to spy on her. She follows Sharon when she leaves her house. Sharon is questioned on a plane she has boarded to leave the country to look for Adam. She is told by the authorities that their records show that Faith Newman is a one year old and she is taken off the plane. A passenger on the plane a few rows ahead of Sharon asks her fellow passenger if she believes that Sharon may have had a weapon and if there is anything they should fear. The passenger, whose face was covered, slowly removes the magazine she was reading. The passenger on the plane is Phyllis who must have followed Sharon on the plane and likely alerted investigators to her fraudulent passport. Thanks to Sharon, Phyllis has got wind of Adams scent and is on the plane on her way to find her story and the elusive Adam Newman in Thailand. Watch your back Phyllis is all I have to say!
