Theatrical expression in Couture is forever changing with every season. For fall 2010, Christian Dior couture is delicate like a flower and über glamorous. John Galliano, the designer behind the Christian Dior label, created an element of magic and adult playfulness for the Christian Dior couture fall 2010 collection. Galliano, who is often accused of "over the top" fashion and design, left little to the imagination with his big and brilliant flower like creations. Models sported cinched-wasted jackets that dramatically accentuated the waistline of their couture dresses. This collection exuded femininity with sultry yet floral elegance.

This collection captivated everyone in attendance at the Paris couture Christian Dior fall collection event.
Upside down shaped tulip like skirts completed this floral fall look. Other fantastic Galliano creations featured long ballgown style dresses covered in feathers and petals made of silk. The petals were so well defined that they appeared real at times. This designer has a special knack when it comes to bringing back the glamor of days gone by in an exceptional way. This floral look complete with full bulb skirts was eye-catching and brilliantly colorful. The bold and striking array of colors made each individual Galliano creation appear more dramatic then the one before.

As the models strutted down the runway, the gamut of short yet fun dresses for the fall collection seemed endless. The models look was topped off with exceptionally perfect ponytails wrapped in colorful cellophane. Both models and dresses were undeniably a vision of floral wonder. Not surprisingly, this was not Galliano's first foray into the realm of floral design. The designer introduced floral design for his fall/winter 2008 collection. His inspiration then was said to have come from the styles of 1961. Like the 2008, this collection features gorgeous yet familiar Galliano touches.

For the fall 2010, Galliano's inspiration for the collection came from his love of gardens he knew as a child growing up in Les Rhumbs, in Normandy. Memories of this time in Galliano's life continues to resonate dearly within the 49 year-old designer's creative expressions. The Paris fashion show was describes by many as Galliano's flower garden for all the right reasons. The colorful patterns for the 2010 fall couture collection are very fresh and dynamic. A theatrical and visual feast for the eyes is another way to describe the latest Galliano collection. These designs are even more appealing for those who especially appreciate and adore the classic Galliano stylish design. See photos from the fall couture collection here.

Do you think this is the most glamorous and romantic John Galliano collection ever?
