Fresh off the success of writing hit singles for others, Terius Nash - best known as The-Dream - is ready to release his solo debut album, Love Me All Summer, Hate Me All Winter. The-Dream is best known for penning Rihanna's smash hit Umbrella and J. Holiday's hit single Bed. Will The-Dream be able to crossover from successful songwriter to artist?

The first single off of Love Me All Summer, Hate Me All Winter is the club smash hit Shawty Is A Ten. The song was produced by Los Da Mystero and written by The-Dream. The song is very repetitive yet catchy. It is one of those songs that are stuck in your head even if you do not want it to. The song also features a verse from rapper Fabolous. Fabolous adds a great deal to the song.

The second single off the album is Falsetto. The track was produced by Christopher "Tricky" Stewart and written by The-Dream. The track is definitely very different and channels all kinds of influences. The song finds The-Dream crooning in falsetto which is appropriate due to the name of the track.

The third single is I Luv Your Girl. The song is more traditional R&B than most of the tracks on the album. The song definitely is a sure fire hit. The song features a very repetitive and melodic beat along with simplistic lyrics.

On Livin' A Lie The-Dream is joined by R&B singer Rihanna. The song is one of the best written tracks on the album. The song is also one of the catchiest and has the most commercial appeal. The-Dream and Rihanna have solid chemistry on the song and this is the best either them has sounded on a record in ages.

On She Needs My Love, The-Dream sings over a 1980's inspired track. The song is definitely different than other tracks that are currently out. The song is surprisingly catchy even though it sounds so awkward.

Ditch That is definitely another very awkward sounding track. The song samples The-Dream's trademark ad-libs from previous hit Umbrella. The song is alright at best, but just is too different.

Fast Car is definitely one of the most abstract tracks on the album. The song is a definite homage to Prince and '80s pop music.

Purple Kisses is another solid song. The track sounds very similar to other hit songs written by The-Dream.

The-Dream's debut album is an experimental affair, which yields several hit songs. Love Me All Summer, Hate Me All Winter gets 7.5 out of 10 stars for a solid debut album. If you're a fan of The-Dream, make sure you pick up his new album Love Me All Summer, Hate Me All Winter.
