Have you ever wanted to design and manage your own theme park? With close to total control over rides, food, novelty, and staff choice. Theme Park is game is for you. The game starts with you the player selecting your age, gender, and avatar for your own park. From there you select the type of park you want to operate and the difficulty. The three types of parks are as follows: Sandbox, Sim, and Full. Sandbox version is for the beginners, it gets you used to playing in the Theme Park environment. Pretty much you don't have to worry about the little things the park will require you to in other modes.

Sim mode gives you a little more control over your park. Nothing changes except the options you have to operate the park. You can now research upgrades for rides, food, shops, and staff. You also have the ability to negotiate the wages of your union workers. Full mode is the most difficult but most fun mode to play. You have access to all the previously mentioned functions but now you can trade stocks. You are also in charge of the warehouse that stocks your food and shops in the park.

Once you have selected you game mode and difficulty you have the choice of selecting four different characters that will help and guide you through the life of your theme park. Now its time to start playing. The park is totally open and ready for you to set whatever grid you want. You have to start with the path tool to set paths of concrete so guests can get around the park. I highly suggest not setting up the entire layout of the park, since guests tend to wander around aimlessly wherever paths are set. I suggest building the park in steps, and however you do it doesn't really seem to matter in the game.

The customization of this game is really amazing. Although the options are pretty well set you can choose how many janitors and handymen you want in your park. You can have as many burger joints around the park as you please. The first year of operation you have four rides to choose from. Each year a new ride and food or shop becomes available for use in the park. The longer you go the more choices you have to work with. And you can even plant trees, rose bushes and apple orchards in the game. Setting up the park is just the beginning. Managing and making the park look nice is another part of this game.
The music and graphics are not the best in this game compared to others. The music is somewhat repetitive and the graphics are cartoon like at best. Nothing super amazing in this category.

The fun level and creativity are the lifesaving parts of this game. The game runs seamlessly with the touch screen controls. All the menus are easy to read and understand. You can even touch guests to see how long they have been in the park, how much money they have and how they feel. The fun of this game is the challenge to succeed. Setting your own park is a blast, but to watch it grow and profit is a good feeling.

Overall this is a solid game for most gamers. It is ,in my opinion, the best PC to hand held version of and SIM game. Sometimes you can feel like you are going nowhere in the game and thats usually a sign something needs to be fixed. But I would suggest this game for younger and older players.
