His dad was a philanthropist known as "Thee"
Mom was Mittie, from a southern family.

Theodore Roosevelt was the second child of four
Born in a four-story brownstone in New York

Low self-esteem, but he loved natural history.
His father put him in boxing for the exercise
He kept up his boxing for most of his life.

Three days after his beautiful daughter was born
This day he marked X, and forever scorned.
For on this day, exactly eleven hours apart
His wife and mom died, thus breaking his heart.

The birth of the "teddy bear" came into play
Due to his animal kindness, and his nickname

His second wife Edith, his childhood sweetheart

Was just starting to get samrt, and thinking "Faye's not mentioned the teddy bear..." You've certainly done a lot of research! Not a bad legacy having the teddy bear named after you.
