Theories on Ghosts and Other Strange Things

When the word ghost comes to mind, people tend to think of human beings that have not passed on to the other world. With this assumption, ghosts are considered to be the walking dead. What are they really? No one knows for sure, but one thing is clear, there are sightings of ghosts and other spirits all over the world, and these sightings are increasing as time passes. Some are afraid to talk about this issue, others embrace it, and some refuse to believe they even exist.

There is the first theory that can possibly explain the reason for such sightings, and its called The physical echo theory. This theory suggests that ghosts are a sort of echo from the past. Have you ever yelled very loudly and several seconds later hear your own voice? Just as sound waves take time to go from point A to point B and back, energy left from a person could possibly do the same thing. For instance, if one sees a spirit walking through a graveyard and then the spirit suddenly dissappears, could this possibly be a case of physical echo? The energy could be left in the material world doing things as it normally did as a human being. Therefore the so called spirit isnt a ghost at all, just an echo from the past.

The same thing could be said if a person committing suicide jumped off of a canyon, and screamed before he hit the ground, and another person on the other side would hear the scream AFTER the body hit the ground and died. So maybe this physical being existed once, and we are just seeing the echo from their past life.

Alternate Dimension theory

Another theory is the Alternate Dimension theory. This theory states that ghosts are not the walking dead either, but something that is very alive and well, just in an alternate reality. If you have heard of different dimensions, then you will understand this theory. We live on a certain plane of existance, and there is a theory that there are other universes and different dimensions that exist under, beside, over, or in our own.

Sometimes these alternate realities will clash into one another for brief moments of time, resulting in people from our plane seeing ghost cars, demons, ghosts, and all sorts of mystical beings. Is it not possible that demons could be from another universe? Or that ghosts are real people from an alternate dimension? When one thinks about it, it starts to make sense. It would explain why people see and experience all of these strange encounters. Or everyone could just be plain crazy.
