There is Hope for Little Aidric

Larsen Hunt, a Victim of Domestic Violence, Had a Vision for Her Autistic Son, Aidric

Viktorya Hale
All single mothers know how difficult it is to raise a child in this day in time, especially without the help of their other parent. Being the mother of three very healthy children, I cannot say that I could relate to Larsen Hunt. She was the mother to a beautiful son named Aidric and had the dream and vision to find a cure for Autism.

According to family, Larsen pursued extensive research in efforts to learn more about Autism. It was her passion, her dream, her LIFE. However, that dream came to a brutal halt on October 26, 2010.

They say that Larsen would work double shifts at the Neonatal Unit, in Tampa's General Hospital. She loved her job; even more she loved her son and wanted be able to pay for the specialists that he needed for his Autism. She prepared the special foods he needed, made sure he went to a speech therapist and had all the necessary specialists that he needed in hopes to give him the best life that he deserved. This is what she lived for.

Larsen had dated Jason Skinner less than a year before he brutally shot her in her Tampa apartment, leaving Little Aidric to live the rest of his life without his hero... his Mommy. She is really all he knew. His father is not an active part of his life and now he is being raised by his grandparents with the help of his Uncle.

A local hero heard the story and was compelled to build a site in efforts to raise $100,000 to help fund the needs of Aidric so that he can continue his treatments. Matthew Maddix and his affiliates are asking that we all raise awareness not only for Autism but also for the brutality of Domestic Violence. It not only kills, it steals.... Aidric's Mommy was stolen, never to return again.

Though we may never replace the hero in Larsen Hunt, we can KEEP her DREAM alive by giving to Aidrics Fund. Please follow the link HOPE4AIDRIC

ALL Proceeds made in this article will be donated to this cause. I encourage my fellow writers to spread the word and the love as well. Let's keep Larsen Hunt's dream alive!!
