Steamboat Springs, Colorado, is known as Ski Town, U.S.A. There indeed are plenty of places to ski in the Colorado town. There is a lot to do in the city any time of the year--winter or summer--besides skiing, at Saddleback Ranch, however.

In the winter you can take dinner sleigh rides, hot cocoa sleigh rides, snowmobile tours, ride down the snow on an inner tube, or go horseback riding.

In the summer there is also plenty to do at Saddleback Ranch at Steamboat Springs, Colorado. You can take horseback dinner rides, ATV rides, wagon dinner rides, or participate in cattle drives and hunting is also available.

According to ranch officials, the ranch and the beautiful mountain scenery in the background provides an ideal place to get married. Many people have also come to the ranch for family reunions, corporate parties, or other events. In addition to the majestic mountain views, those in attendance at such events can gaze at the unique rock formations, the beautiful aspens, mountains, and meadows.

Those who attend such events can ride up in a wagon. Carriage rides to the wedding are available for the bride and groom for a wedding to the ceremony, as well as a private ride after the event. Wedding cake services are also available. Simple and elegant weddings are both possible. A sample menu can include New York strip steak, salmon, teriyaki chicken, BBQ brisket, pulled pork, and grilled pork tenderloin.

With a dinner sleigh ride, the only sound you may hear may be that of a distant coyote, or the jingling of the harness. After a 30 minute ride, bundled up in a blanket, which the ranch provides, you will arrive at Double Dollar Lodge for a hot chocolate, cider, and a home cooked meal. Hot cocoa rides with just hot cocoa after the ride are also available.

Snowmobile dinner tours include a 1.5 hour snowmobile tour of Saddleback Ranch and an all you can eat spaghetti dinner. There are also half day tours and two hour tours.

You can take a two hour horseback ride at the snowy ranch, as you view Mt. Werner, Flattops, and Sleeping Giant. Horses are available for riders with all riding abilities.

According to the ranch, one can have the best hunting experience of his life at Saddleback Ranch in Steamboat Springs. Deluxe accommodations are available at Double Dollar Lodge. Participants can hunt big game on 8,000 acres of private land.
