There Are Moments

Now, let me see. There are moments when a guy's company is better than anybody else from this world. Remember the times when nothing can ruffle your day. Days when you do not notice how you keep on smiling even if there seems to be something that normally angers you a lot. Those times when all of your friends would notice the light in your face. Rare instances when they say you simply look radiant. On that shining moment, you are the picture of inspiration itself, simply because you are with your guy.

But then again, irony is never far. Since a day always ends you are inevitably separated from the source of your inner joy. In addition, the light in your face slowly fades when you are finally separated. You do not care losing that light because you did not know it was there in the first place. Simply put you did not consciously reach to the heavens and borrow some of the life giving fire it brings. Noticeably, the twinkle in your eyes, the charm in your smile as well as the spontaneity of your warmth are all gone. Heavy steel bars seem to be placed on your feet. It is now so difficult to stretch the muscles in your face. The days or weeks and even months has passed. He is officially lost from your view.

However, just as the river goes on flowing towards the sea you wake up each morning and continue to live your day. There are all other moments you have to consider in your life. Your heart may be powdered with the many emotions it went through but you must learn to acknowledge it. How about the fact that it is still beating, well, we should also learn to celebrate it too. Compare it to the days that end. Consider the joys that are short lived. Our resiliency does not end just as easily. There were moments and there will be more. Learn the art of living the moment because there are moments we simply must treasure. The end.
