There is Nothing that You Must Think, Say or Do!

There is Only One Thing that You Must Be!

Ronald Franks
It seems widely accepted in the USA that there are only two things that you must do: pay taxes and die. I wonder if anyone actually believes that. Or do people just regard it as a cute and clever suggestion which it might be. But it is hardly the truth and it supports the false notion that an individual's choice can be, and is, limited by something outside the individual: and this is just not the case. It is my intention to show here that there is no basis in Reality supporting that declaration and to offer the reader, thought and an alternative viewpoint which is empowering and liberating.

First things first. And the First and Only Thing is Being. From and out of It flows Its Creations. Being is the the Only Thing an Individual can know certainty, absolutely, without question and without the need for validation from anyone or anything outside the individual. An individual intuitively knows that s/he Is: and there is absolutely nothing nowhere which can now or ever change this truth of Reality. Realizing this truth is an individual's first movement in Human experience of Being reflecting back upon Itself, through the use of division (not separation) of Its many expressions in the form of individuals. All further movements are but deeper reflections of This Same Energy.

Now anything apparently beyond Being Itself is not really something other than Being extending or expressing Itself; because That is all there is to begin with (and to end with, hence the circle of Life). This apparent stuff beyond Being is Form with structure, limits, boundaries, impermanence and is always changing. Being, Itself, on the other hand, is Real, formless, limitless, boundless, permanent and changeless. Being is simply Is-ness and by Its very Nature It is The One Thing That has always been and must always be and It knows not time other than as It experiences that illusion through the Individuals which are Parts of It.

You, I and all individuals are Parts/Extensions/Expressions of This One Being and as such, Who We Truly Are are characterized by the exact same Nature as The Thing Itself. So, at the core and essence of Who We Truly Are, we are Being, characterized by the same Nature as our Source: and accordingly, we are Real, formless, limitless, boundless, permanent and changeless. As such the only thing that we have no say about, or vote in, is our Isness - we MUST BE: but that is all! Everything else is up for grabs: merely a matter of individual preference and each and every individual has the right and power to determine what that preference shall be and no other individual shall or can oppose it. On planet earth we refer to this gift as the power of choice.

Now one of the choices you may make is to whether or not you pay taxes: of coarse you will have consequences whether you do or you don't: but let's at least see that you clearly have a choice and consequences may influence that choice but they do not in fact mandate it as the saying suggests. As to the other saying that you must also die: it seems to imply or infer that you must cease to be and if that is it's meaning, I have already showed that you are Being and as Such, you can not cease to be what you are which is Life, not Death.

In conclusion, Who You Really Are is a Part of Being: and the only Law of Being Is That It Is What It Is and That Is Everything. As such there is nothing outside Itself to mandate That It think, say or do anything. By That Same Law there is nothing in the Universe that can mandate you thinking, saying or doing anything. You are here to determine that for yourself and to experience the fruits of your choices/preferences. So, my good and loving friends, enjoy yourselves - that's the intention!

Forthcoming. To date, no other individual has written an account of my life. As soon as someone does, I'll post it here with their byline.  View profile
