There once was a man from Nantucket,
Whose money was kept in a bucket,
The money got wet
He was in a fret
So said, "well, just f'rget it."

Post a CommentThere once was a man from Nantucket,
An oyster, there was, in his bucket,
When asked his intent,
The reply from this gent -
"If it matters to you, I'll shuck it!"
lol. How funny. :)
btw, I grew up in Bakersfield. I kinda miss that place.
Clever last word...I got it.
Well, um, the intent was a substitute for what would naturally rhyme with "Nantucket".
It would have been better if the Bankers said "Let's forego it!"
This was a lot of fun...limericks may be your forte' BRAVA!
