When I entered the chat room, it was very welcoming and people were friendly and helpful. As with any new site, there are some minor flaws to be worked out. Upon notifing the staff about one such bug, I was happy to see a personalized response and thank you from the staff. It appears as if the staff truly do care about their members and are working hard to make the site a pleasant experience for all.
The creator of 1Community is Magnus Wahlaren, 22, of Stockholm, Sweden saw a need for an online community for adults that was not based on dating, but rather a place to make friends and interact with other adults though blogs, forums, and a chat room. So Magnus built such a place and called it 1Commnunity. Where the general idea is 1 World..... 1 Community. A place where adults can blog, participate in forums or chat with friends. Some future aspects of the site will be classifieds, games, photo/video hosting and more.
As stated on the About Us page of 1Community:
