There is Pain in My Heart

There is pain in my heart.

It runs deeper than any chasm known to man.

I know that it seems to be an exaggeration.

A very good one.

But,

Trust me,

This is no exaggeration.

This is the unbearable truth.

The pain stems from an unknown place.

A place that is unknown even to me.

A place that is dark.

Powerfully dark.

Terrifying.

Horridly terrifying.

It scares me.

As it surrounds my heart and mind,

The powerful darkness envelopes me.

Then it drags me away

To that deep chasm that no man knows of....
