The password for your debit card
Your car pulls to the left and hates to go over 60

What kind of toothpaste you like
Onions make you nauseous
How long it takes you to get ready for work in the morning
There are things only a wife should know
Which side of the bed you sleep on
How you like to kiss
How you like to snuggle while we watch a movie at home
There are things only a wife should know
Your deepest thoughts
Your hopes and dreams
Your goals for the family
There are things only a wife should know
How the whole house smells like your aftershave and shower gel after you leave for work in the morning
What your favorite shirt is
Where you like to hide important papers
There are things only a wife should know
But now SHE knows too
And it hurts that SHE knows
It hurts that you brought her into our lives..
Into MY life, MY world, MY family
WHILE I WAS STILL HERE
There are things only a wife should know
Like how our daughter likes to wear her hair
Or how our son prefers peanut butter over meat
There are things only a wife should know
But she knows. She replaced me when you left me for her...
She took care of OUR kids because I couldn't live with you and HER...
She took care of YOU
She heard your fears
She heard your dreams
She stole everything I had
And you handed it to her.
I was right here.
I AM right here.

Now she knows.
You gave her everything I had.
You helped her become everything I was.
