I wasn't looking,
but you were there.
I never thought I would
find love anywhere.
I'd given up hope
and accepted my fate.
In my eyes,
it was just too late.
But, then you called,
though I didn't know why.
When you first asked me out,
I felt like I could fly.
Everyone warned me,
"Don't fall too fast."
And I didn't know
if things were gonna last.
What I did know
from that first date,
was how right it felt,
like it was our fate.
Seven years later,
we're still going strong.
There you were,
my soulmate all along.
