There's no other friend like Jesus
Who but knows our every care.
He our mighty Rock of refuge
From life's many toils and snares.
Who alone can bear our burdens
'Neath the loads of sin we bear?
O what love He often giveth.
Jesus answers every prayer.

Is there any friend so faithful,
Who is standing always near?
Nothing to His eyes are hidden
When we go to Christ in prayer.
Jesus' arms will sure enfold us,
Keep us from the Tempter's snares.
If we tell Him 'bout our troubles,
God will wipe away all tears.

When the storms around us gather
And the sea is tempest tossed,
Christ, our Savior, and our Refuge,
He doth count all sin as dross.
Jesus knows about our sorrows
And the burdens that we bear.
Take your burdens unto Jesus
When you go to Him in prayer.
