There's Still Hope

Brandon Elliott
I've never looked into a cloud
and seen rain
But I know it's there
There's still hope.

I've walked for miles
in the wrong direction
But I know there's a way
There's still hope.

I've been in places
that others say don't exist
But I know my placement in the world
There's still hope.

I've seen what life looks like
when death is tugging at your sleeves
But I know I'm alive
There's still hope.

I used to dream of being loved
by someone that's worthwhile
And now I am.
There's still hope.
