Las Vegas is one of the world's most famous city. If you are planning a trip to Las Vegas anytime soon, it is important to plan when exactly to go so you can experience all of the excitement and none of the hassle. Here are the four best times to visit Las Vegas!

Early March - In Las Vegas, summers are intense and the winters harsh. Yet the weather is excellent in early Spring; the temperature is comparable to Southern California with none of the humidity. While the weather stays this way until early April, going in early March allows you to avoid all of the crazy College Students and influx of families during spring break. The hotel rates are also more attractive at this time due to the lack of tourists; hotels also offer special packages to entice potential visitors. Early March is also a great time for NASCAR fans as Winston Cup and Busch National Series are held at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway annually at this time. If you want to beat the heat, beat the crowds, and enjoy some NASCAR action, early March is definitely the best time to visit.

Late June / Early July - If you don't mind the heat, visiting Las Vegas in the middle of summer is definitely a viable option. Special events such as free concerts occurs frequently during the summer. In addition, big name celebrities like Jerry Seinfeld and David Cooperfield are more likely to perform during the summer time. Annually, the NBA also hosts their summer league in Las Vegas in early July, attending a summer league game is a special treat for any NBA fan. While there are no firework shows on 4th of July, you can purchase and set off your own at any near by park with others doing the same. If you enjoy crowds and festivities, there is no better time to visit Las Vegas than in the heart of summer.

Labor Day - Labor day is another great time to visit Las Vegas. Kids and other younglings are back in school, so the crowds and families are gone. The weather also begins to cool beginning in September. However, the best thing about Labor day in Las Vegas is the shopping. Besides Thanksgiving, Labor day boasts the biggests sales and discounts at all of the stores. Whether it's a department store, outlet mall, or little shop, midnight madness type sales are everywhere. New Year's Eve - The time when the biggest parties are held in the city of parties, New Year's Eve is definitely one of the best times to visit Las Vegas. The entire city celebrates as parties are hosted from one end of the Strip to the other. The fireworks ringing in the New Year are Las Vegas extravagant. While this is the best time to visit for young 20 somethings and those who love to party, this is one of the worst times to visit Las Vegas with your family. Drunken carousers and unruly characters abound setting bad influences on your children and endangering your family. This time of the year is also bad for the sightseers as the traffic is horrendous and crowds unbearable. I myself stay as far away from the Strip as possible during New Year's in Las Vegas. However, if parties are your thing, Las Vegas is definitely the place to be for New Year's. That said, be safe and do not drink and drive.
