These Immortal Words (Revised)

you trace these immortal words of darkness,
they dance upon your pen,
you sing with passion, filled with poetry,
wish about places you have never been,

you hear the screams from down under,
and the pull you feel, is hate,
drag me down with you crying, bleeding,
these immortal words have come too late,

the war is starting, it tries to defeat you,
your body and soul are torn,
amazing how tears cannot find your eyes,
when your emotions and pride are so worn,

imagine...that I am pretending,
just walking here among the goodbyes,
you feel like you're in too deep now,
filled with all of those sorrowful lies,

Smile...within.. you are fading,
wasting away, one final breath,
your body is cold and un-moving,
Your pulse is now silent, like death,

im listening, but i cannot hear you,
the pain inside, it eats me alive,
throughout all of my nightmares, Im

surviving,
Cover me up with my invisible disguise,

you traced my immortal writings,
you re-wrote them on walls made of glass,
erasable words from a nobody,
bittersweet words of a broken past,

Like a disease you let him fool you,
you were dillusional and scarred,
you covered up the truth on your wrists,
sat somewhere in silence, locked and barred,

behind the green eyes, and scarlet blankets,
you lay in a puddle of wishes and dreams,
beneath the sadness and anguish you

stay..forever,
staged... almost like a part of me,

Your words have become consuming,
the lies surround your stone-like face,
he reaches to pull you out from under,
but his compassion has come much too late,

writings in notebooks, burned at your hands,
scared of the truth and the pain,
beauty lies broken, in a casket of darkness,
holding roses... a final tear to her name.
