They're Stuck

Steven Jacob Borthick
Tension in my arms
My guts writhe
The explosion in my mind
Is silent

The chaos is consuming
Minds are refusing
To leave the cage
But stay inside
Their little world
Where the kinds of things
That really matter
Is when they get regular fries
When they asked for curly
Consumed in the things of the world,
They're stuck.

I want to help
All break free
I've freed a few
Is that all I can do?
