Izzy shared the dreams with her husband, George, and partners Suzy and Abby, at their meeting. They had several suggestions. Suzy thought that the dreams were about Izzy's dealings in her latest assignment. "Harry's been trying to force you out, to hire his friend."
George suggested that it could be something in the future.
Abby added,"Or this could be symbolic."
Izzy decided to wait and hear for herself. They continued the meeting about their present assignment from corporate office.
A month later, Izzy had a dream from two year earlier. She was back in a foreign leader's office. He didn't speak her language but understood her. The office was still red and brown with books from floor to ceiling. He wasn't sitting at the desk, but in a chair. She stood before him telling him that since he'd not heeded
the first warning about changing course in some of his dealings that he'd caused permanent damage.
The same person who'd sent her before sent her again telling him that those whom this leader had crossed had ordered a contract on his life. he needed to order his affairs since the hit was irreversible. He graciously thanked her. She woke up.
She decided to tell her partners about the dream. She thought it strange that there was a leap between the first and second dreams with no second warning about not heeding the first warning.
She went to her office to email her partners, while checking her latest email. She saw one from a friend she'd not heard from in six months, who emailed her when she had something important. She read the forwarded email from an anonymous man.who was asking a friend of this woman for help on a dream he'd had.
His dream was the same as her first dream about the foreign leader, except he told him that he needed to heed the previously delivered message which he was dangerously disregarding.
Izzy's hair stood on end and she said, "Oh my God!!" She forwarded the email to her partners then went to her assignment. On arrival, her liaison, Dan, looked at her strangely, not talking. After the project session she asked him what bothered him.
He reminded her how he'd gone on a fact finding mission in Europe and the Middle East. He told her that near the Syrian border he'd walked around the corner of a building he was inspecting when he met some people who looked like her and her husband George.
As he asked her what they were doing there, a car full of darkly clad and masked men drove over the border and stopped before them. The men jumped out of the car and ran after them. Izzy ran to a ladder on the building. They followed her as she climbed to the roof, ran over the neighboring roof and escaped while the men shot at them.
Izzy stared at him, while he became uncomfortable. She explained what she had thought were dreams. Then he stared at her while she walked out the door to go tell her partners what had happened.

I planned to teach college art in studio & history. But I needed to home school our son and did short term missions instead, which benefited from my education. I write about the trips I take for our ministry. View profile
