Fete Rouge. This is a fantastic event to take part in. Chefs come together to share their dishes. This is a weekend competition for chefs to compete against each other to see who will win the gold medal. This is a chance to taste exotic flavors on earth. Entertainment will be available to those who attend. A silent auction is also a big part of the entertainment.
Alligator Bayou swamp tour. Up close and personal with these creatures are something you wouldn't want to miss. Watching the alligators being fed is something you only see on television. This is an opportunity you don't want to pass on.
Old Governor's mansion Tour. This tour gives you the opportunity to see where the governor lived and enjoyed his days. The tour is something you should see while you are in Baton Rouge. Who wouldn't want to see how the governor lived? It is a great tour to experience.
Balloon Championships. This month in August families have a chance to view the sights of Baton Rouge from high above the horizons. If you are afraid of heights, this isn't for you. This competition event is free admissions. There are also fireworks available during this event as well.
Blue dogs and Cajuns on the river. This art exhibit gives back to the community with its profits. The art museum is a chance to view the artwork of the Baton Rouge community. You are able to purchase artwork and the profits are given to a foundation.
Baton Rouge is mystic journey through wilderness and beautiful nature scenes. You won't go around with visiting this town for the first time.
