Yesterday,
I had my head in a suitcase.
Just a robot with a dream.
The expectations for me were never met..
They never will be.
Things never change.
I had my head in a suitcase.
Just a robot with a dream.
The expectations for me were never met..
They never will be.
Things never change.
Today,
My head is in a sling
Like a shirt with a coffee stain.
Life just isn't the same.
It never will be.
Things never change.
Tomorrow,
My head will be in the clouds.
Like a bird with no limits.
My best isn't good enough.
It never will be.
But things change.

- The Presidential Hopefuls - Will Things Change? The more things change, the more they stay the same. But if we continue with the status quo, is the United States doomed to stagnation? Or can we still make the drastic changes we need with this election..
