Jacksonville is the largest city in Florida. With six unique sections to the city, there's always plenty to do.

For those of you that wish to stay in or around the water, consider taking a riverboat or yacht cruise. Common water sports in the area include scuba diving, swimming, kayaking, and water skiing. If you enjoy fishing, you can cast off Jacksonville Beach's Fishing Pier without a fishing license.

If you enjoy historical sites, visit Kingsley Plantation on Fort George Island. Here you can visit slave quarters, the waterfront, plantation house and garden. The fort Caroline National Memorial pays tribute to the French presence in the 16th Century. At the Theodore Roosevelt Area, you can walk along the nature trails seeing wildlife and piles of oyster shells.

Your children will love splashing around at Kids Kampus where activities include a water park and lots of free educational activities. Located at Jacksonville Beach, Adventure Landing has activities the entire family will enjoy. These activities include miniature golf, roller coasters, laser tag, go-karts, an arcade, and more.

Downtown Jacksonville is place to go to enjoy the Arts. The Museum of Contemporary Art hosts their Art Walk on the first Wednesday of every month.
