Golf

The golf courses at Casa de Campo resort, which means "camp house" in Spanish, were designed by world-renowned golf course architect Pete Dye and his wife Alice Dye, according to Casa de Campo's website. The golf course architect built three challenging courses at the Caribbean resort: The Links, Teeth of the Dog and Dye Fore.

At the Casa de Campo courses, you can golf on your own, join a tournament or take some lessons to improve your skills. All three Casa de Campo golf courses are open to the general public.

Water Activities

Water activities in La Romana include swimming, fishing, boating, scuba diving, snorkeling and taking a water excursion. Water activities are available for all skill levels. Various companies offer scuba diving lessons and excursions for beginners and experts alike. You can swim out in the deep ocean or stay by the shallow beaches. You can rent a boat to drive yourself, or hire an expert navigator.
