Things I Have Learned from Watching Americas Funniest Videos

Most of us have grown up watching Americas Funniest Home Videos, now known as Americas Funniest Videos. It was something of a staple, part of the TGIF schedule a great way to end the work week. We have all laughed and some of us have laughed until we cried one thing remains clear there is a lot to learn from this family fun show. We could all use a little reminder of what not to do when the camera is rolling.

Don't stand up in a boat in the middle of the water; it will tip over and you will get wet.

If a big box comes out of nowhere and you did not order it, do not open it, it will be scary.

If you are a dad and your child is playing baseball cover your scrotum, you will otherwise get hurt.

Dancing and singing too close to the edge of the stage will result in a fall off of it.

If you like to sing in the shower you will get recorded and everyone you know will see it.

Look out while riding your bicycle, those parked cars can come out of nowhere.

Curiosity did not completely kill the cat but it did, just maybe get it dunked into the fish tank.

Swinging anything around your head is a bad idea and will result in a headache.

The cork from a bottle of champagne can fly really high and far, it looks like it hurts.

Mice running around suddenly will make people jump really high.

Letting a child blow out the candles on the cake will be the cause of the spit that ends up on the cake.

Letting a senior blow out the candles will result in the loss of their dentures onto the cake.

Neither dogs nor cats can distinguish the difference between their tails or their enemy.

When the sliding glass door has been freshly cleaned, someone will run into it.

Children will use that can of spray paint to paint their parents walls.

Golf balls can make a really handy weapon.

Children will blame everyone else on the mess of milk, flour and chocolate syrup that got dumped all over the kitchen.

Chihuahua's do not like to be dressed up and made to sing and dance.

If you interrogate a ram you will get run down by it.

You should never stand too close to a llama, they spit an awful lot.

If you have had an alcoholic drink even one you should not ever get onto a table and dance.

If your date has had an alcoholic drink even one you should never ever let them pick you up and swing you around.

Your pet bird will not only repeat what you want it too for show but it will also repeat those other things that you don't want anyone to hear.

Well there you have it, that is some of the things I have learned from watching AFV and now even though I have reminded all of you of the lessons to be learned from watching Americas Funniest videos I just bet that people will keep making those same mistakes over and over again anyways.
