To start with, a cluster of volcanic islands which are found in the South Atlantic Ocean typify Tristan Da Cunha. The dominant islands are Gough, Inaccessible, Nightingale and Tristan. This foursome combine together to provide a place that makes tourism appeal to the senses. The presence of mountains in this area also thrills mountain lovers as they easily express themselves while capturing this signature of nature.
The highest peak is the Queen Mary's peak. Snow forms a blanket over these volcanoes in the winter. The capital city of Tristan Da Cunha is Edinburgh. The presence of a museum, local shops, supermarkets and government offices draws a lot of people here. The locals of Tristan Da Cunha express themselves a lot here and it makes appreciation of their culture easier.
The Gough Island has a wild life reserve which can also be visited. The fact that it is a UNESCO's world heritage sight says it all about the Island. A couple of mountains and bays dot this island and present themselves as places where tourists can visit and enjoy themselves throughout their stay in Tristan Da Cunha. Here, the obvious presence of nature is blinding.
The puzzling thing about this island is its lack of popularity. This is the reason most tourists neglect it. However, it's not only about the name the place wields. This island offers a lot more than its 10 kilometers diameter suggests. Fishing is the major source of income and locals find the time to grow potatoes on some of the fields here.
Another thing which makes this a place to visit is the nature of the people. They love visitors and are always eager to welcome and please tourists. The summer offers a rare opportunity of swimming in the clear, blue sea. Lying on the beach absorbing the sun's gentle rays after a swim is a really great experience. Bars around also contain a wide variety of foods and drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic.
The ever-gentle and accommodating weather also entices lots of tourists to Tristan Da Cunha. It is one of the fastest growing tourist destinations in the world. Staying over there during a vacation is made easier by the presence of homes for rent. Why not attempt a visit?
