What to Do in and Around Sharm El Sheikh and in the South Sinai

Sharm el Sheikh is a fabulous place to visit, and below are just a few ideas and suggestions as to what you can do in and around Sharm el Sheikh, to make your stay all the more fun and enjoyable.

1. Visit Ras Mohamed. Why not take a boat trip or snorkeling trip to this National park and be amazed and dazed looking at the Red Sea.

2. Take a trip to St Catherine's Monastery. Take in the culture, the history and the beautiful sights this attraction has to offer.

3. Why not climb the Moses Mountain. If you are feeling adventurous and energetic, why not climb Moses Mountain and take in all of the beautiful scenery and surroundings.

4. How about going snorkelling. There are many places you could go snorkelling in and around Sharm el Sheikh, such as Ras Mohammed - the national park. Excursions are always available and are affordable.

TOP TIP: Remember to haggle. If you go on a snorkelling trip fro example, try to haggle and get the price down. Remember that if you don't ask you don't get.

5. Why not go diving. If you don't fancy snorkelling how about diving. This fun underwater experience could make your trip to Sharm el Sheikh all the more exciting and memorable.

6. How about renting out a boat, or going on a boat trip. See Sharm el Sheik and surrounding areas by boat.

7. Hire a car.

8. Take a submarine trip. If you fancy seeing what's in the sea, but don't feel up to swimming, snorkeling or diving then why not take a submarine trip.

9. Go to Tiran Island. This is another beautiful destination that you must see when you visit Sharm el Sheikh.

10. Take a safari, get off the tourist track and see more of Sharm el Sheikh on a tour or safari.

11. Go walking, there are plenty of places to walk, be it around the resot or along the sea-front, you should find plenty of places to explore.

12. Go to the old market, browse the shops, try your hand at haggling and have fun.

13. Go to Naama bay. This is an upbeat place to go and a must for all holiday makers.

TOP TIP: Remember to stay safe. If you decide to book or go on any excursions make sure that they are fully licensed and insured.
